The Ona Futura Foundation and Alcúdia City Council sign a collaboration agreement and the cession of spaces.
On October 29, 2020, the City Council of Alcúdia (Mallorca) and the Ona Futura Foundation signed a framework agreement for collaboration and transfer of spaces between the two entities. The rubric, which took place in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, was ratified by the mayoress of Alcúdia, Bàrbara Rebassa, and the president of the Ona Futura Foundation, Inmaculada Farran, and was attended by other councilors and representatives of the Foundation.
With this agreement, the two entities show their willingness to "jointly promote and carry out acts and events that are of general interest and fulfill the own or common objectives or purposes of both institutions."
Precisely, and within this will of collaboration, after the signing of the agreement, the Fundación Ona Futura presented to the representatives of the council the Nacra Project, which aims to protect and regenerate the posidonia meadow of the beach of Aucanada (Alcúdia), which also has the collaboration of the company Underwater Gardens, experts in the use of technology to solve the needs of regeneration of marine ecosystems, adapting each system to those specified in each place ; and the support of the Mare Mar Foundation.
